    MINI Roadside Assistance helps you out if you get into motoring difficulties in the Republic of Ireland, UK and Continental Europe. It can be purchased either on its own or in conjunction with MINI Insured Warranty.

    Overview.

    MINI Roadside Assistance is designed to help you out if you get into motoring difficulty. If you're on the road, at home or elsewhere in the Republic of Ireland - or travelling in the UK and Continental Europe - you're covered.

    In the event of the immobilisation, MINI Roadside Assistance will arrange assistance for you, utilising an extensive network of Roadside Assistance centres, manned 24 hours a day 365 days a year, by experienced, multi-lingual staff.

    MINI Roadside Assistance can either be purchased on its own or in conjunction with MINI Insured Warranty.

    To obtain a quotation, or to purchase a policy online now, simply click the button below. Please be aware that to get a quotation you will need your vehicle registration number and the exact current mileage of your car. If you were sent a reminder letter you also will require the PIN and login name detailed on it. The service history of the Insured Vehicle will be required by the repairing Centre in the event of a claim. The service history should be supported by corresponding invoices from the servicing or repairing Centre.

    Details of Cover.

    Assistance.

    Wherever possible, we will endeavor to arrange assistance by a dedicated MINI Customer Service Vehicle. If the problem cannot be resolved and your MINI is immobilised we will arrange for recovery to the nearest Authorised MINI Centre or MINI Service Authorised Workshop (or to the one nearest your home address).

    If the vehicle cannot be repaired by the MINI Team at the MINI Centre within four hours, we can provide a replacement vehicle for up to 2 working days or arrange onward mobility. Alternatively, we will arrange hotel accommodation if this is the most convenient solution.

    Once your MINI is repaired we will arrange for it to be redelivered back to you.

    For assistance required within Continental Europe we will repatriate you and your vehicle if the vehicle cannot be repaired before the end of your planned return date.

    Storage.

    If your MINI needs to be stored following recovery by MINI Roadside Assistance, we will pay for the cost of storage up to a maximum of €70 in the UK or €135 in Europe.

    Travel.

    If repairs to your MINI cannot be completed within four hours we will, wherever possible, pay for you and your passengers to continue your journey or return home.

    If you break down more than 80 km from your home address, and an overnight stay is a more practical option, we will pay for bed and breakfast accommodation. You are entitled to up to €135 per person within the Republic of Ireland and the UK.

    If you are travelling in Europe and your car repairs require you to stay overnight, we will pay the costs of hotel accommodation for up to four days.

    Replacement vehicle hire

    Replacement Vehicle Hire.

    If MINI Roadside Assistance cannot repair your vehicle within four hours we will, whenever possible, organise and pay for a replacement vehicle for up to two days (or two weeks in Europe, then three days upon your return to the Republic of Ireland).

    The rental provider will need to see your valid driving licence and you will be asked for a deposit to cover petrol charges and any additional days hire.

    Redelivery.

    Providing your MINI has been recovered by MINI Roadside Assistance to a MINI Centre or MINI Service Authorised Workshop (other than your local Authorised MINI Centre or MINI Service Authorised Workshop) we will arrange for it to be returned to your home address in the Republic of Ireland.

    Alternatively, if you wish to collect your vehicle personally, we will pay the appropriate costs to enable you to do so.

    If your vehicle is repatriated from Europe, we will organise and pay for it to be returned to the Authorised MINI Centre or MINI Service Authorised Workshop nearest to your home address in the Republic of Ireland. If you then wish to collect your vehicle personally, we will arrange and pay the costs for you.

    Glass Breakage

    Glass Breakage.

    In the event of a glass breakage in the Republic of Ireland or the UK, we can contact an Authorised MINI Centre, MINI Service Authorised Workshop or MINI glass supplier on your behalf to arrange replacement.

    Alternatively, if a repair cannot be dealt with at your location, we can arrange to have your vehicle stored securely until the necessary parts are available for repair.

    Please note: other MINI Roadside Assistance benefits do not apply to glass breakage, and that you will be liable for the cost of the repair or replacement

    Can I purchase MINI Roadside Assistance if I do not have an existing Policy?

    Yes. The price is €158.53 for 12 months cover.     How long will MINI Roadside Assistance cover me for?

    Your MINI Roadside Assistance cover will last for 12 months from the day it commences.

    How do I know whether I have an existing MINI Roadside Assistance Policy?

    Provided your vehicle was registered from new in the Republic of Ireland and not imported, you are automatically entitled to three years MINI Roadside Assistance cover from the date of first registration. If you are still unsure whether you have a current policy, please call the MINI Warranty Services on 1800 840 400. Lines are open 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday and 9am to 1pm on Saturday, excluding public holidays.

    If I have MINI Roadside Assistance already will I receive notification about renewing my cover before it expires?

    Yes, you will receive a postal reminder from MINI Roadside Assistance one month prior to your expiry date. If you are unsure when your policy expires, please call MINI Roadside Assistance on 1800 840 400. Lines are open 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday and 9am to 1pm on Saturday, excluding public holidays.

    If I arrange MINI Roadside Assistance today, when does the cover start?

    Cover will start 24 hours after your instruction, subject to payment authorisation.

    If you have an existing MINI Roadside Assistance policy, cover begins from the expiry date of your current policy.

    Will the policy cover anyone who drives the vehicle?

    The policy covers your MINI; therefore any driver will receive assistance if required.

    Is cover transferable to another car?

    No, cover is not transferable between vehicles, although if you sell your MINI privately then you are able to register the policy to the new owner should you so wish.

    What do I do if I need assistance?

    Is there a discount if I own more than one MINI?

    No, unfortunately there are no discounts available.

    What happens if my vehicle needs to go into the Dealership?

    We will keep you mobile. If a replacement vehicle is required we will arrange this for two working days. The duration is extended if you require assistance in Continental Europe.

    Can I expect any assistance if I have a MINI Insured Warranty policy but opt not to include MINI Roadside Assistance in my policy?

    Yes. A facility for Republic of Ireland roadside recovery only - Warranty Assistance - is included with MINI Insured Warranty.

    Please note that this service is limited to recovery to the nearest dealer within the Republic of Ireland only and is not a replacement for the full assistance services and benefits provided by MINI Roadside Assistance at home, elsewhere or on the road in the UK, Republic of Ireland, and Continental Europe.
